Part 107 — Remote Pilot Certificate

Who Should Take Part 107
- Commercial drone operators: Aerial photography, real estate, surveying, inspections, agriculture
- Helicopter pilots: Adds a complementary credential — many operators value pilots who can fly both
- Anyone making money with a drone: If your flight has any commercial purpose, you need Part 107
- Required to be at least 16 years old, English-proficient, and pass a 60-question knowledge test
